Mine Rehabilitation
What distinguishes our team of professionals with experience in the investigation, analysis, and design of mine reclamation projects, including superfund sites, is niche expertise in inactive mines. We’ve evaluated and rehabilitated collapsed adits, designed and constructed mine bulkheads, restored streams, constructed monitoring wells, consolidated and capped waste piles, and designed innovative run-on/run-off controls.
Our team has performed these services for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Colorado Division of Mining Reclamation and Safety, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado State Attorney General, and various mining companies.
The depth and scope of experience of our professional staff includes underground mines, mine reclamation, mine rehabilitation, underground bulkheads, dams, water conveyance facilities, tunnels, and general civil projects. Project management and contract management during construction are an important part of our work experience and a major factor for delivering a successful project to the owner. We’re proud of our ability to effectively collaborate with government agencies, mine owners, contractors, and other engineering firms to provide useful and timely solutions. Our team understands the EPA’s needs and methods, allowing us to provide effective assistance from the outset.
