Schnabel Experts Featured in NASA’s NISAR Mission Video

Schnabel Engineering is featured in NASA’s latest video on the upcoming NISAR mission—a satellite-based initiative that’s set to transform how we monitor critical infrastructure from space.

The video includes insights from Allen Cadden and Ben Webster, who discuss our work at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia, and how new technologies like NISAR can enhance early warning systems for slope movement and structural change.

Developed by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), NISAR will provide continuous, high-resolution data to support safer, more informed decisions for infrastructure systems like dams, levees, and airports—especially in remote or hard-to-access locations.

We’ve long believed in the potential of satellite data for geotechnical monitoring, and it’s exciting to see those tools becoming reality.
