Schnabel Announces Gladstone, Michigan Office

Schnabel is excited to share the news of our expansion into the Great Lakes region with a new branch in Gladstone, Michigan! This key location highlights our dedication to serving clients and partners throughout the Midwest with our diverse range of engineering services. The Gladstone office will act as a central hub for geotechnical, mining, dam, and tunneling projects and enable us to serve both existing and new clients across the Midwest and nationwide.

By housing a team of technical staff and experts from various disciplines, we aim to foster collaboration across all teams and services. We are pleased to introduce Gladstone’s leaders: Matt Wachholz, Principal Engineer with over 25 years of expertise as a senior geotechnical engineer and client manager with a focus on strategic project teams integrations; and Elliot Rouleau, Associate Engineer, with over 12 years of experience in the mining and geotechnical industry, including technical proficiency in rock mechanics and underground and open pit mining.

Supporting this office are Great Lake’s Senior Engineers; David Falish, and Daniel Becker, provide geotechnical project engineering and management, and construction engineering and hydropower experience, respectively. Paige Courtney, and Ian Gannon are Great Lake’s staff engineers, specializing in geotechnical/ geological engineering and field operations management. Lisa Salentine provides project controls and administration support to the group.

We are looking forward to integrating this team within our broader network, further strengthening our capabilities to deliver the highest quality solutions across the nation.
