VCU Adult Outpatient Pavilion
As part of VCU Health’s expansion, it’s building a 16-story, $349 million outpatient pavilion at North 10th and East Leigh streets, occupying the site of the relocated Virginia Treatment Center for Children. The project consists of demolishing the existing building and constructing a new 603,000 sf Adult Outpatient Pavilion and 472,000 sf parking garage that will connect to a medical office building on the north side of the site.
A portion of the medical office building consists of 16 above-grade levels, one below-grade level, and a mechanical penthouse. The portion of the medical office building that will wrap around the west side of the site will have nine above-grade levels. The parking garage will consist of up to two below-grade levels and 10 parking levels. Schnabel is the geotechnical engineer of record and is providing geotechnical consultation during construction.
