Phil Shull Becomes Geostructural Practice Leader

Please join us in congratulating Phil Shull, PE on his promotion to Geostructural Practice Leader at Schnabel Engineering!

With 21 years of experience—19 of them at Schnabel—Phil brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to this role. As the previous department manager of our Chadds Ford GeoDesign group, he had successfully overseen geotechnical, geophysical, and geostructural services with a strong focus on technical excellence and cross-team collaboration.

Phil’s expertise covers complex design and construction challenges nationwide, including high-profile and historic sites such as Ellis Island, the Jefferson Memorial, and the emergency reconstruction of the collapsed I-95 bridge in Philadelphia. His work in micropiles, tie-downs, excavation support and earth retaining systems, and dewatering design reflects his ability to deliver a variety of solutions to complex geostructural problems.
