
P. Brent Scott has performed, budgeted, and managed environmental projects under the Comprehensive Environmental Responsibility, Compensation and Liability Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Clean Water Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act, as well as various state voluntary remediation programs, state DOT hazmat programs, and state underground storage tank programs. He specializes in environmental investigation, including high-resolution site characterization methods, and is an expert in numerous remedial techniques such as air sparging/vapor extraction, permeable reactive barriers, bio slurry applications, and chemical oxidation injections.
Brent has also managed large regulatory compliance programs for international manufacturers and Class I railroads in order to meet standards. Routine tasks were updating Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Hazardous Waste Management Plans, Facility Response Plans, and permitting assistance under the National Pollutant Discharge System Program.
During his career, Brent has managed and/or performed environmental projects across the United States and internationally in British Columbia, Canada; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; and multiple locations in Africa. He also has experience with high-profile environmental programs at The Presidio of San Francisco, California; the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Superfund Site, Commerce City, Colorado; on U.S. Navy CLEAN contracts; and on the Nathan E. Stewart environmental response at Bella Bella, British Columbia.
