Jeffrey Sewell, PE

Jeffrey Sewell, PE, joined the Baltimore, Maryland, office in 1998 as a Senior Staff Engineer after several years working for Maryland firms. He was a member of the Leadership Development Group (previously the Schnabel Young Leaders Group) for several years. He is currently a Principal within the Geotechnical Business Unit. In 2017, he joined the 401K Committee and became an ESOP Trustee. Jeff is now a Principal/Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the Baltimore office. Jeff is a key member of the GBU’s transportation group and has helped grow the transportation business across offices.

He has over 25 years of experience providing geotechnical engineering on many large and complex infrastructure and vertical construction projects. He brings considerable expertise to the Schnabel team in shallow and deep foundation design for bridge and waterfront structures. Jeff leads many of Schnabel’s alternative delivery projects, including several mega projects. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and his Master’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
