As Schnabel’s Hatchery Practice Leader, Bryant Charlo is responsible for developing and coordinating our fish facility design staff and services, and for ensuring the delivery of high-quality aquaculture projects. Here at Schnabel, he has managed and led the planning and design of many full-scale fish hatcheries for clients including Tacoma Power, Idaho Power Company, the Yakama Nation, Bonneville Power Administration, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and Puget Sound Energy.

For more than a decade, Bryant has worked on a wide variety of hatchery projects, from conception and planning through final engineering design and construction. He has experience in hatchery facility planning, water supply and treatment, recirculating aquaculture systems, hydraulic structures, hydrology, and biological programming.

As a project manager, Bryant leads multidisciplinary teams, schedules resources and project tasks, prepares budgets, and serves as a liaison with clients. He understands the value of clear communication and accountability for schedule and budget, and has a keen understanding of the technical work he manages.
