National Safety Month: Slips, Trips, and Falls

We’re wrapping up National Safety Month by highlighting the danger of slips, trips, and falls.

These incidents are one of the primary causes of workplace injuries and significant incidents. Even minor falls can be dangerous, potentially leading to lacerations, contusions, sprains, broken bones, or traumatic brain injuries.

In this video the Schnabel Safety Team discusses how to mitigate your risk.

Some key actions you can take include:

  • Wearing sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles
  • Maintaining situational awareness at all time
  • Watching for rutting, holes, debris, cords, and excavations
  • Paying special attention to activities of other contractors

Thank you for following along through National Safety Month! We hope you’ve found the content useful in strengthening site safety and promoting the well-being of your team.
