“Economic Impact Analysis for Steel Piles Driven in Intermediate Geomaterials Using Machine Learning Algorithms” evaluates the economic implications of utilizing steel piles in intermediate geomaterials (IGM). By employing both new and existing static analysis methods, the study analyzes data from 149 test piles across seven U.S. states. It utilizes three distinct machine learning algorithms to predict variations in steel weight, enhancing the accuracy of the analysis. The resulting contour maps developed from this study will serve as valuable tools for guiding future applications of steel piles in IGMs, ultimately helping to mitigate construction challenges faced in current practices.”
