Jonathan Pittman Promoted to Southern Regional Leader

Congratulations to Jonathan Pittman for being promoted to Southern Regional Leader of the Dam Engineering Business Unit.

In this role, Jonathan is responsible for guiding dam engineering business operations, project delivery, client relationship development, and strategic growth while aligning regional priorities with the company’s broader goals across Schnabel’s expansive southern region. He will also play a key role in developing staff across multidisciplinary teams, managing resources, and fostering collaboration across offices to deliver consistent, high-quality engineering solutions. In addition to his role in Schnabel’s southern region, Jonathan will also provide similar support to our growing practice in the Midwest.

Jonathan brings more than two decades of dam safety and geotechnical expertise, specializing in dams, levees, ash ponds, and other complex civil projects. His work spans evaluation, design, and construction support, collaborating with Schnabel’s engineers, geologists, and scientists across the full project lifecycle.

Previously, Jonathan served as the Branch Leader of the Greensboro, NC, office for five years, where he successfully led a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive solutions on complex dam safety, geohazard, and heavy civil engineering projects. Evan Binder, PE, has been appointed Branch Leader of the Greensboro office, continuing the office’s tradition of technical excellence and client service.
