International Women in Engineering Day

In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day on June 23, we’re excited to feature Schnabel Principal, Jennifer Jordan, PE! With over 30 years of experience in geotechnical and tunnel engineering, Jennifer has been an essential contributor to some of the largest, most complex, high-profile infrastructure projects in the United States.

“The key to successful underground projects is to not only understand the nature of the subsurface conditions but also the appropriate means and methods to construct the work,” says Jennifer. “I’ve appreciated being part of amazing project teams whose creative design and construction approaches have led to remarkable outcomes.”

Prior to joining Schnabel, Jennifer was a founding Principal and President of JCK Underground; a firm that became an industry recognized leader in program management, engineering, and construction management of underground facilities. The strategic merger of Schnabel and JCK Underground last September brought significant value to our clients by combining the resources, expertise, and experience of these two respected firms.

I’ve appreciated being part of amazing project teams whose creative design and construction approaches have led to remarkable outcomes.
