Ellen Engberg, LG, Named Seattle Branch Leader
Ellen Engberg, LG, has been named Branch Leader of the Seattle office! Ellen is a skilled Program Manager and Licensed Geologist with more than 13 years of geotechnical engineering and program management experience. She has been working to manage projects, clients, and mentor staff with Schnabel’s growing Seattle office since March 2021.
Prior to her time at Schnabel, Ellen spent 13 years with the Corps of Engineers, where she provided technical and policy guidance to the dam safety and asset management programs. She led geographically and technically diverse teams in delivering projects to support the operational and maintenance programs of dams through their full project life cycle. Her work resulted in improvements to life safety, reliability efficiency, capacity, and longevity as well as in a reduction in long-term maintenance costs.
Robert Indri, PE, relocated from Schnabel’s Greensboro office to help found the Seattle office in 2017. Rob helped to establish Schnabel’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and land our first major client in the area, Seattle City Light, who owns numerous impressive hydropower dams.
Rob is a dam engineering specialist who has been with Schnabel for 17 years—his entire career! He will continue to report to the Seattle Branch as a key senior leader in our civil/structural group while he takes on the next adventure with his family in Wyoming.
