Dam Safety Day

As we observe the anniversary of the South Fork Dam tragedy (the Johnstown Flood), we encourage all to understand how each of us can play a role in improving the safety of our nation’s dams, through engineering and technical advancements in inspections and assessments and investments in this critical infrastructure.
