Chimney Hollow Reservoir Wins ASDSO Award
We’re excited to share that the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project in Larimer County, Colorado, has received a regional dam safety award from ASDSO!
Led by Northern Water, this landmark project includes the tallest embankment dam built in Colorado in more than 50 years and will strengthen water reliability for communities along the Front Range.
Schnabel Engineering is honored to support the effort as the lead designer for the high-hazard cofferdam, a key component of the project’s care-and-diversion system as well as for the quarry where the materials for construction of the dam and other site features were mined.
Congratulations to Northern Water, Stantec, Barnard, Black & Veatch, and the Colorado State Engineer’s Office on this well-earned recognition. Proud to be part of the team delivering this critical water infrastructure for Colorado.
