Albany Donates $500 Spark Grant to Local Food Bank

As Schnabel’s 2019 Spark Office of the Year, the Albany office is continuing to make an impact to meet the needs of their community in 2020. Albany’s Spark Champion Stephan Wise has sought out a worthy local charitable organization to benefit with their winning Spark community grant during these challenging times. Stephan identified Food Bank of the Hudson Valley as the beneficiary, and the Albany office donated $500 on behalf of Schnabel this week, joining in the effort to feed those in need and providing 2,000 meals to the community.

“We are so grateful to community partners like Schnabel Engineering for their support during these challenging times,” said Paul A. Stermer, Director of the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. “We are truly blessed to be part of a community filled with individuals and organizations who understand that we are all in this together. That’s more important than ever as we navigate through this period of unprecedented need.” Every $1 donation helps the Food Bank provide 4 meals to friends and neighbors in need.

A huge thank you to the Albany office and Spark Champion Stephan Wise for continuing the Spark mission in such a meaningful way!
