Scarlett Kitts, PE, and Laura Shearin-Feimster, PE, of the Greensboro office volunteered at their local MATHCOUNTS competition held at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University on February 11. They accomplished grading the tests and got all of the competitors and volunteers fed.
In operation for more than 30 years, the MATHCOUNTS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides engaging math programs to U.S. middle school students of all ability levels in order to build confidence and improve attitudes towards math and problem solving. The MATHCOUNTS Competition Series brings together students from all 50 states in a series of in-person contests – the only competition program of its kind.
