After passing a rigorous exam, Laura Shearin-Feimster of our Greensboro office can now add “ENV SP” after her name. The credential is issued by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI). Based in Washington, D.C., ISI was founded by the American Public Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Council of Engineering Companies and operates under their oversight. It was created for a single purpose: to develop and maintain a sustainability rating system for all civil infrastructure. That rating system, called Envision, is like LEED for infrastructure projects. Schnabel is an ISI member and an Envision Qualified Company, thanks to Laura’s new status as an ENV SP. We congratulate Laura on her achievement and are proud to support the program. For more information about Envision, click here.
