Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

Taking the Polar Plunge on February 18 in Radford, Virginia, warmed our hearts by fund-raising for the Special Olympics. The 50-degree weather was an extra bonus for our hearty community-minded participants, who were able to dry off afterward without shivering. Shown before and after are Sue Buchanan (Greensboro) in the blue and white shoes and dark shorts; Robin Reed (Blacksburg) in the black pants and shades; and Kenny Megginson (Richmond) and friend Jaime Smith in pink shorts.  Thanks to all who supported our team with your donations: between the community’s and Schnabel’s efforts, $43,000 was raised for the Special Olympics.
