Schnabel Engineering performs Phase I environmental site assessments (ESAs) for projects ranging from small property transfers to major commercial and industrial development projects. Where needed to evaluate the nature and extent of environmental concerns, we also provide additional (Phase II) assessment services. We perform detailed site characterization for regulatory compliance and for input to design and construction of facilities. To plan for proper handling/disposal of construction and demolition debris, we perform asbestos surveys and lead-based paint inspections. We also can include wetland and critical habitat delineations as part of the environmental site assessment where appropriate.
