Ms. Nancy Straub, PE, LEED Joins Schnabel
January 26, 2012 | Schnabel Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Nancy Straub, PE, LEED to the Rockville, Maryland, office.  Ms. Straub has over 15 years of engineering experience in geotechnical, environmental, sustainable design, forensic, insurance and litigation support, and construction phase projects. Ms. Straub’s experience includes managing both geotechnical and environmental projects related to tunnels, pipelines, shallow and deep foundation systems, airports, bridges, roadways, earth-retaining systems, dams, nuclear power facilities, rock mechanics, karst, soft soils and other difficult ground conditions, ground-improvement techniques, and geotechnical instrumentation. Ms. Straub’s environmental experience includes third party environmental peer reviews, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, environmental sampling, remediation monitoring and reporting.
