Mr. O. Christopher Webster, P.E. Promoted to Principal

Schnabel Engineering is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. O. Christopher Webster, P.E. to Principal of the firm. Mr. Webster, Branch Manager for the Charlottesville, Virginia office, has more than 23 years of experience. Project experience includes U.S. embassy work; university and college facilities including Virginia Higher Education Capital Outlay Manual (HECOM) projects; power plants and other industrial facilities; hospital facilities; primary and secondary schools; multi-story hotels; parking garages; commercial, government and retail buildings; high-density and single-family housing; potable water and wastewater treatment plant facilities; and communication towers. Experience also includes earth dams, gravity dams, and slope stability studies, damage studies, pavement studies, and expert witness testimony. Mr. Webster has also seved as guest lecturer for the University of Virginia's School of Architecture, and adjunct instructor in the University of Virginia's Civil Engineering Department, teaching both both lecture and laboratory soil mechanics classes. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is Past President of the ASCE Blue Ridge Branch. Mr. Webster was recognized for his work as Champion of the 150th Anniversary of ASCE.
