Schnabel is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Allen Cadden, PE, to Director of Strategic Development for the firm. Mr. Cadden, who recently served as the firm’s Director of Geotechnical Engineering, as well as on Schnabel’s Board of Director’s, brings more than 22 years of field, project engineering, and management experience. In his recent role, he provided outreach to the industry, as well as quality control, process improvement, and technical guidance across the company. As Director of Strategic Development, Mr. Cadden will be responsible for formulation and implementation of the strategic direction of the firm, including oversight of emerging technical trends and supervision of firm wide business development and marketing support services,
Mr. Cadden’s experience includes geotechnical investigations, design, instrumentation, and construction monitoring services. As a Designer, Project Manager, and Senior Reviewer, Mr. Cadden has worked on a variety of geotechnical challenges ranging from commercial developments to water resource and infrastructure projects that involve shallow and deep foundations, geostructural engineering and ground improvement.
As an active member of ADSC, ASCE, and DFI, and serving as Chairman for the International Society for Micropiles, he is positioned on the cutting edge of the state of practice in these specialty areas and has become a distinguished speaker for these societies.
