ACEC Virginia recently awarded a Grand Award to Schnabel’s Richmond, Virginia, office for geotechnical engineering and geostructural design aspects of the new Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (VCUHS) Critical Care Hospital. The Hospital is Virginia’s first hospital devoted solely to critical care. The 16-level, 367,000-sf facility increases critical care capacity at the medical center with intensive care units, and features new operating rooms and expanded emergency care.
