Schnabel Engineering, Inc., Glen Allen, Virginia, is pleased to announce that the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Executive Committee has appointed Dr. Conrad Felice Chairman of the Modeling Techniques in Geomechanics Committee.  TRB standing committees play a vital role in facilitating the exchange of transportation research information and results. The committee members work together to develop research problem statements in their area of interest, review and recommend papers for publication and for presentation at TRB Annual Meetings, and organize committee meetings, workshops, and other activities.

Dr. Felice is the President/CEO of LACHEL FELICE & Associates (LF&A), an independent operating subsidiary of Schnabel Engineering.  Dr. Felice has more than 28 years of experience in delivering project and program management, construction engineering analysis and design, and construction claim avoidance and resolution services on above- and below-ground engineering projects, including tunnels, pipeline crossings, forensic analysis, earthquake engineering, and seismic risk evaluations.  He has extensive experience on projects evaluating the dynamic response of earth structures analyzing site liquefaction potential and ground response under earthquake and explosive loads.
