Mr. Gregory Paxson, P.E. promoted to Senior Associate of the Firm
July 19, 2007 | Schnabel Engineering, Inc., Glen Allen, Virginia, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Gregory Paxson, P.E. to Senior Associate of the Firm. Mr. Paxson has 13 years of experience in analysis and design for dam and geotechnical engineering projects. His experience includes evaluation and upgrading of existing dams and design of new dams. Specific experience includes hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, gravity dam stability, labyrinth spillways, roller compacted concrete, and slope stability and seepage analyses for earth dams.
An active member of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials, Mr. Paxson has authored or co-authored numerous technical papers presented at National and Regional conferences. In addition, Mr. Paxson was guest-editor of the Lakeline Magazine (publication of the North American Lake Management Society) Fall 2002 issue dedicated to dam safety.
