Bio
Mr. "Rich" Linamen, located in LACHEL FELICE’s Dunn Loring, Virginia office, provides one of the broadest bases of tunnel construction experience available in the U.S. consulting field. For more than 33 years, Mr. Linamen has been involved in all phases of tunnel construction in positions ranging from Shift Engineer on one of the most difficult tunnel projects built in recent years, through Project Manager on a major metropolitan subway section, up to the position of Vice President and Chief Engineer of one of the most respected and foremost tunnel construction firms in the world. Mr. Linamen has participated in the design and specification preparation for major tunneling projects in Oregon, Kentucky, and Texas; prepared evaluations of contractor claims in Alaska; and has reviewed specifications and prepared detailed cost estimates for major underground construction projects ranging from near surface sewer tunnels to deep underground structures at depths greater than 3,000 feet. He has also participated in Value Engineering Studies for underground projects for metropolitan sewer projects.
