Bio
Mr. Derrenbacher has more than 24 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. His experience includes project management of over 500 geotechnical engineering studies within the Maryland region. Mr. Derrenbacher has experience in a variety of geotechnical engineering applications relative to design of retirement communities, apartment buildings, highrise structures, slopes, parking garages, hospitals, warehouse and industrial facilities, commercial buildings, schools, residential developments, roadways, parking lots, and waterfront structures.

His specialized experience includes soil mechanics testing, shallow foundations, compaction grouting, jet grouting, dam rehabilitation and design, stormwater management facilities, slope stabilization, drilled shafts, geotechnical studies in karst terrain, and sinkhole investigation and remediation.
