    Bio

    Mr. Cadden, located in Schnabel’s West Chester, Pennsylvania, office, has over 20 years of field, project engineering, and management experience in a variety of projects throughout the Eastern United States. As the Director of Strategic Development for Schnabel, Mr. Cadden is responsible for implementation of the strategic direction of the firm, and provides supervision of firm wide business development, marketing services, and professional development and training.  His experience includes geotechnical investigations, design, instrumentation, and construction monitoring services. Projects have included bridges, landfills, high-rises, retail and heavy industry involving shallow and deep foundations, and geosynthetic applications. In addition, he has provided designs for new and existing earth dams, ground improvement, underpinning, micropiles, and slurry walls, as well as instrumentation and data acquisition. Mr. Cadden has specialized experience in various applications of cement grouting technologies and micropiles as well as a strong background in computer programming and applications to geotechnical evaluations, including customized GIS systems.  He is a past member of the ADSC Board of Directors, currently serves as the Chairman of the International Society for Micropiles, and is a Governor for the Geo-Institute.
