Health and Safety Manager
The corporate office of Schnabel Engineering, Inc. is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their Glen Allen, VA team.
As a Health and Safety Manager you will mainly be responsible for promoting the health and safety of all Schnabel Engineering, Inc. employees and reducing the financial risk associated with occupational illnesses and injuries. This includes: providing safety and health support to all branches, preparing written safety and health programs and polices, identifying company safety training needs and developing safety training programs, managing a variety of health and safety programs, acting as a point of contact for workers compensation carrier and case manager, negotiating vendor contracts for health and safety programs/products, managing the safety portion of the corporate budget, as well as maintaining OSHA records for government compliance.

| Requirements: |
| Requirements include a Bachelors degree in health/safety related fields, working knowledge of OSHA, 5-10 years of experience in health and safety, and strong verbal, written, presentation, and computer skills, ability to travel 15% of the time. A safety (CSP) certification is preferred. |
