The Gaithersburg office of Schnabel Engineering is looking for a Project Geostructural Engineer to join their team.
As a Project Geostructural Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with proposal preparation, preparation of design calculations and drawings (sketches) for geostructural projects, provide design support during construction of geostructural projects, general project management, and mentoring junior staff and technicians.

| Requirements: |
Qualifications include a MSCE with a concentration in geotechnical or structural engineering and 3-5 years of experience. Experience should include: geostructural related projects, including analysis and design of support of excavation systems, underpinning of existing structures, slope stability, steel and concrete design, soil stabilization, deep and shallow foundation systems, earth retaining structures, and numerical analysis. Also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
