The Corporate Office of Schnabel Engineering, Inc. is looking for a part time In-House Attorney to join their team in Glen Allen, VA. Position would be 3 days per week w/ a pay rate of up to $75/hour. This is an exciting opportunity available in a fast-paced, growing organization. In this role, you will handle all legal issues for the organization, including but not limited to: general business transactions, contracts, formation of new ventures, federal, state & local tax matters, review, negotiation, and drafting of legal documents, licensing agreements, consulting contracts, customer terms & conditions & other agreements. You will also assist in employment & human resources matters including visa processing, employee issues, affirmative action, benefit plan document review, & other duties as needed. The selected candidate will also manage the interaction between the organization & outside counsel dealing with more complex or specialized legal matters.

| Requirements: |
The successful attorney will have 10 plus years of experience in a law firm or in-house in commercial law, with exposure to litigation preferred. You must have solid academic credentials, strong oral and written communication skills & be willing to juggle multiple responsibilities.
