Schnabel Engineering is looking for an experienced construction materials testing (CMT) project manager for our Rockville, MD office to manage inspection and testing activities on a major transportation project.
As a Construction QC Project Manager, you will be responsible for: planning, coordinating and supervising inspection and testing activities; preparing detailed work plans; collecting and reviewing technicians’ field reports, and inspection and test data; ensuring data is entered into management database; evaluating data trends; addressing and resolving nonconformance issues; visiting the construction sites to supervise and instruct technicians; troubleshooting and resolving problems; leading and attending meetings; documenting activities and preparing reports, ; reviewing timesheets; and preparing invoices. |
| Requirements: |
| Qualifications include a BS in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience or 7 years of experience without a BS. Also requires experience managing CMT services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. |
